Q4 What information did Jesus give about the resurrection of the dead?

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.  John 5:28,29.

NOTE:  It is interesting to see that Jesus spoke of two resurrections. One for the good and one for the wicked.

Q5 When Jesus comes again what do the righteous finally receive?

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:9

NOTE:  All through life the righteous have lived by faith, hoping for a time when they would be saved from the power of sin. When Jesus comes to claim the faithful, they will be removed forever from the clutches of Satan.  They will have been saved.  Only at this time can we safely say, I am saved.  In this earth we always have the opportunity to revert to our old ways.

Q6 At the second coming where does the Lord take the righteous who have been resurrected and those who were alive to see Him coming in the clouds of glory?

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  John 14:1-3

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.  1 Peter 1:3,4

NOTE:  It is only at the second coming of Jesus that good people go to be with Jesus.  It is then that they are resurrected and given eternal life to be forever with the Lord. This is the time when we shall all be changed and this mortal must put on immortality’.  Now those same righteous ones—both those who were alive to see Jesus come, and those who had died while waiting and were resurrected—will be in heaven with God.

Q7 What period of time does the Bible say will elapse before the wicked dead on the earth will be resurrected?

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. Revelation 20:5

NOTE:  Here the Bible reveals that there will be 1000 years with certain events at its beginning, and a further sequence of events at its close.

Q8 What happens to Satan at the second coming of Jesus?

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.  Revelation 20:1-3

NOTE:  During the 1000 years, Satan remains alive on the earth.  He has no-one to torment or tempt.
