SUMMARY BOX
It is widely believed, that in this world Jesus covers us with His forgiveness, and it is only when He comes that we will be changed. At that time a miracle is expected by which Jesus will make us all new people.
The Bible does not teach such a miracle. By contrast, it clearly teaches that even in this life we can develop the same life that Jesus lived when He was on earth, This will be a life that we choose to leah. It will be so much part of the fabric of the way we think and act and speak that our transformation will be solid. It is people like this—people who look at Jesus, want to be like Jesus, trust in Jesus for help and guidance to a new life, and strive for it with perseverance in spite of temptations to do otherwise, who will be chosen to be the citizens of a new world without evil. There will be a deciding judgement at the end to determine who will be safe to allow through to the new world.
A VERSE TO REMEMBER
