Q22 When we claim God’s promises by faith, believing, how certain are the words, and what blessing does this bring to God?
For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him amen, unto the glory of God by us. 2 Corinthians 1:20
NOTE: When God’s faithfulness and His power are seen in our lives, and those around us can see our characters entirely transformed, these are miracles that can only have come from God. These are the miracles that God delights to perform. We have His character in us, because we believed, met the conditions, trusted Him to carry out His promise for us. We live in this earth as Jesus would have lived, and God is honoured in our lives.

SUMMARY BOX
We need power to be able to overcome our temptations and sins. God has the power. The Gospel is the power of God to transform us and to save us. This power is more than a match for the power of Satan. We can escape the corruption of the world. We can have this divine power within us. This is why the Gospel is good news. We can be transformed in life and character and grow into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, because He has creative and restring power, and is able to preserve His new Creation. All this power is in the promises of the Bible if we ask, believe and say thank you.
